The Power Of Love

That phrase can mean different to everyone and I will be the last one to judge you.  What's the power of love?  How would you explain it?  Would you use the Bible or use today's society?  Everyone has their own opinion, they could be right, they could be wrong.  If a stranger came up to you asking; what's the power of love, would you answer them or walk away because it's the easy way out.
Love, itself is a very powerful word.  It can mean many different thing considering the situation.  Love can mean forever, eternal, long-lasting, true.  There's always a battle of how you define love.  Maybe your love is your car, your pet, your child, your spouse.  I'm guessing I nailed down at least one for you.
The power of love doesn't come magically by just loving someone or something.  The power of love comes from God, through His Word, through His servants.  He gave His only Son to die for every single one of us.  Would you do that?  His Son died for our sins we commit every day, so that we could be saved and live eternally.  That's what I call the power of love.
The next time you think about this question, think about Jesus being nailed to the cross.  The one who died for us, so we could live eternaly and so that we could love as much as God loves us.

"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."  1 Corinthians 13:13
